Convergence provides Ticketing, Retail, Registration, Donor and Membership services to the Leisure and Hospitality market sector. We make our services available to clients exclusively by Cloud Delivery and a Software-as-a-Service business model. This allows us to efficiently operate, support, and evolve our business.
The Convergence Team is completely focused on the development, delivery and service of our single product, the Convergence Ticketing Platform. We currently have over 100 attraction venues using our Platform. Our headquarters is in Aliso Viejo, California in southern Orange County.
Convergence began as an interactive marketing agency specializing in custom eCommerce applications. We were fortunate to have projects with global brands during this early phase of our evolution, which taught us attention to detail and quality of service. Examples of these early custom engagements are Billabong USA , the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and luxury car brands such as Lexus and Mercedes Benz and Cadillac.
After successful custom eCommerce projects, we began transitioning to a standard product and platform for eTicketing with a Software-as-a-Service delivery model in 2005. By 2008, this new Platform and SaaS Model accounted for over 90% of our business and our eConsignment was considered the best-in-class. Clients requested we add significant Education program registration capabilities in the 2007-2009 timeframe, as registration-oriented system providers were either acquired or their systems went to end-of-life. We introduced our web deployed Kiosk and POS stations in 2010 – 2112, with major kiosk deployments at the Bronx Zoo and Central Park Zoo.
In 2013 – 2014 we developed then introduced our first patron and membership management offerings for Development Departments. And we made a significant effort into Retail and Food and Beverage POS offering beginning in 2013 and continuing with a major integrated Inventory Control release in Spring of this year.
Convergence internally develops our Ticketing and Retail Platform and has a team of software developers, system administrators, and database administrators in-house. Our team includes graphics professionals who are involved as we match the graphics of our client webstores to the graphics and theming of their main websites. In addition, we handle our Customer Support and Program Management with in-house staff.
